Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This individual will provide leadership in setting and achieving business objectives. Innovate and implement improvements to methods, products, processes, and work habits which result in annualized cost savings that coincide with higher level business strategies and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Department SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost). Manage Employee Health & Safety practices at site. Responsible for existing product lines and total customer satisfaction. Production and capacity planning for primary and secondary operating shifts. Material and supply replenishment systems to drive vendor demand. Production planning to sequence build plan efficiently and effectively. Effectively interface with warehouse management and meet shipping requirements. On time and complete delivery of all customer orders. Customer service and quality resolution. Responsible for the successful introduction of new products into existing processes. Aiding in the creation of costing models for all quotes. Development of prototypes and all required tooling. Development of the production and materials plans. Responsible for the development of short and long-term written plans for implementing and sustaining continuous improvement (lean manufacturing). Material Cost Reductions. Manufacturing Process Improvement. Review projects and sets priorities that assures all project commitments are achieved. Responsible for overall adjustments to staffing levels and flexing rules for operation. Responsible for communicating vision, targets and progress to targets to members and management on a regular basis. Recognize operational successes. Responsible for the development and compliance of departmental policies and procedures.
